"Iraq seemed to us as a market for our product. When I came to Erbil at the beginning of January 2019, I just had a few contacts. I found a technical partner company, but it was hard to get in contact with potential customers and partners around the country. Luckily I stayed at a guesthouse close to the German Liaison Office for Industry and Commerce in Iraq (DWI). The team of DWI, especially Ms. Nisrin Khalil, developed an idea how we could start our business here and who could be our partners. She than gave me a number of contacts and eventually from these contacts I got all the information and meetings that were necessary for a successful trip.
